There are those we are born related to in blood, and there are those out there whom we are related to in our souls, these latter are our soul family members. Sometimes a blood relative is also a soul family member. I am fortunate that in my life I have found several members of my soul family, and they have always shown up at the just right point in my life and in theirs. I hope to find many more too in this lifetime!
How to recognize your soul family members? When you are going through times of chaos and challenge they are the ones that show up with help, no strings attached. You often feel a glow of unconditional love coming through to you from them. They lift you up, help you to see clearly, they give you a boost, or show you that you can do it yourself when you are in doubt and uncertaintly. They can also show up when you are getting your life on track and really shine, this really attracts them to you. They can be spread out all over the world, or you may find some right near you where they've been all along. In any case they always feel like a familiar long lost pal or friend. They may feel like there were past lives spent together. Be present to how you feel when you meet new people, although hard to ignore that deja vu feeling they give off, you never know!
When you find your soul family there is love, connection, and universal feelings of upliftment of being home. So what exactly is a soul family? This answer can vary in belief structures, but with what I have found is they are a group of souls closely connected to one anther through their creation process, but also of their own choice interestingly! When a soul is created by Source, or The Creator, each is like a little light that has been separated from the Godhead (Whole One Light) and goes off to have it's own experiences and live as an individual. This is happening all the time and there are souls going back into the Godhead to be One with Creation yet again also.
So when a few little lights (souls) are sent off together, as they travel down through the planes into ours, along the way they touch each other and merge practicing remembering who they are, and those they find they fit with well, they decide are their family. Part of learning to be human. So once they incarnate into human form on Earth as babies, they go through a forgetful period which physically grounds them here, then one of remembering, and often during this process they reencounter those they are familiar with that share part of their energy.
So be aware, keep your heart open, and your soul family will show up throughout your lifetime. The whole population of Earth is one kind of soul family, but the one I speak of is much more intimate and more closely tied to your unique frequency. Love to all, xo
