If I could only live at the pitch that is near madness
When everything is as it was in my childhood
Violent, vivid, and of infinite possibility:
That the sun and moon broke over my head.
Then I cast time out of the trees and fields,
Then I stood immaculate in the Ego:
Then I eyed the world with all delight,
Reality was the perfection of my sight.
And time has big handles on the hands,
Fields and trees a way of being themselves,
I saw battalions of the race of mankind
Standing stolid, demanding a moral answer.
I gave the moral answer and I died
And into a realm of complexity came
Where nothing is possible but necessity
And the truth wailing there like a red babe.
By Richard Eberhart
Well that poem is certainly a powerful message in itself! What I would like to talk about today is something that has mystified me and boggled my brain for as long as I can remember...
Children are born into this world knowing who they are and can simply Be who they are quite happily. They see the world full of magical possibilities and understand the timelessness of it all without question. Do you remember that time when you were young? It was magnificent wasn't it?
What happened? When did you lose it? Why did it not last?
Children are born with nothing wrong with them, they have a biological natural spiritualplan built into them, they are wired correctly for being connected to all and expect this to be nurtured. We are all wired this way, by which I mean our mind/brain is made to be able to connect to each other on a deep level and to sense oneness and godness in all. It's there in everyone of you. From an early age we are taught to ignore this, to disbelieve this, to fear this, and to be ashamed of this connection we all have.
We are taught that the world is not infinite, that it is only what our 5 senses tell us it is, that we are mortal, that we are our bodies, and that we are the products of our environments. What a shame isn't it?
"We have a cultural notion that if children were not engineered, if we did not manipulate them, they would grow up as beasts in the field. This is the wildest fallacy in the world." Joseph Chilton Pearce
What if I told you that our minds/brains are designed for the most spectacular functions, most of which none of us have even scratched the surface with now? These innate abilities are just beginning to be discovered and developed, this is part of the 'shift' spreading throughout the world. We have an unending drive to develop these abilities, this is why so many are so strongly attracted to enlightenment, to being in the NOW, to psychic abilities, to telepathy, to manifesting your dreams, to creating and creation, spirituality , theosophy , God, and so on and so forth.
We are starting this journey, it's very exciting, we are evolving.
Intelligence from an early age can be nurtured or stunted, fed or starved just as the body can be. Do you remember when you were growing up that deep sad disappointed and anxiety ridden feeling that the bubbled up inside you every time someone caused you to see the world as less than you thought it was? It was from those points on that you began to lose that 'connection' to all this is and veer off the inherited path away from the plan nature has intended us for. Then the battle starts between what you have been taught is right and real and the driving intent to express your creative and miraculous self. Your true self then starts to become forgotten and you start to feel disconnected, lonely, lost, and abandoned. Such is disappointment in childhood, we are taught this is just a normal stage of development, or becoming 'mature.' This separation of ourselves from one another is extroadinarily painful and if you don't believe me just look around at the state of children and their minds today. ADD, ADHD, and all sorts of nervous and anxiety disorders they suffer, suicide rates, not to mention the violence they inflict on each other and how 'hard' some of them seem to be from an early age.
Now here's an idea you might find very interesting,,,,the great people who have lived on earth, the ones that could perform miracles, the greatest spiritual teachers, ones who have possessed impossible abilities, those who have thrived here in this plane, they have done so because they didn't unlearn what they already knew at birth! They held onto all or some of the knowing and being that they were born with! We were all born with this, and it is those few that kept what they already had that made them great! There is nothing to learn, only a remembering to do here. You already have everything you need now.
If you can go back to when you knew yourself, you will know yourself.
If you can remember what it was to be truly 'alive' you can be 'alive'
When you knew the world was infinite and timeless, you can have that now!
Just believe it, know it and live it. No longer be disappointed, be inspired, no longer be told you are less than you are, be the creator you KNOW you are. Remember.
Remember, remember.
